You were warned yesterday that there was Monkee Madness afoot. I trust you weren't expected rather more sane solutions?

Now a bit of Bonus Fun!
A while back i teased a bit about the Monkees seemingly meeting up with Dr. Thaddeus Sivana. Let's finally get a full look at that little story, shall we?

  1. You're obviously a big Monkees fan, 3. Me, not so much. As you know, they were meant to be the US version of the Beatles, so here's a question for you. Which Monkee do you regard as a direct equivalent of each Beatle?

  2. I know a lot of people have done breakdowns on the two line-ups, but i always got stuck right at the first bit...
Which one was the American Beatle?

    1. That answer seems terribly flip, but truth is my mind doesn't tend to sort & categorize that way. In fact, i'd be hard pressed to try to list the four 'types' that folks generally sorted the boys into.
Umm... perhaps Brainy, Pretty, Strange, and Quiet?
I'm guessing that's probably about half right.

    2. I tend to associate Davy with Ringo, but only because they were both the smallest in their respective groups. As for the others? Dunno.

    3. I believe that most tend to equate Davy with Paul as they were both the sexy ones for the female fans. I get lost, too busy associating Davy with David Bowie.
